Craig Phinn

Biography:

Craig has worked in gyms all over the globe as a personal trainer and a personal training manager. Originally from Great Britain Craig has represented his country at international standard being capped for England Rugby in 2005 and spending 3 years playing top level rugby in the UK.

In 2004 after completing his bachelor of Sports Science at Greenwich University, Craig embarked on his second love personal training. Using his rugby status, he has been involved in training top level athletes and teams in numerous countries. Stepping back from PT Craig has grown a number of strong businesses for large health clubs and we look to see Equilibrium at the head of the bunch!

Biography:

Being consistent with her own recreational training for over 6 years now, it is the benefits, fun and results of maintaining an active, healthy lifestyle that has brought her into the Health and Fitness Industry today – a positive career shift from Function and Event Management.

She endeavours to become a Group Fitness Instructor one day for Boxing, Aerobics and Group Cross & Circuit Training. It inspires her to see the outcomes of those that achieve their goals. The personal satisfaction of witnessing those transform their overall mentality in such a positive way being the greatest outcome of all.

Rhiannon has the goal of further developing her skills and growing her career within the Health and Fitness Industry to hopefully establish her very own club one day

Biography:

We welcome Scott to Equilibrium as our new Personal Training Development Manager.

Scott has worked in the fitness industry as a personal trainer since 2000. In his time, he has trained a vast array of cliental, from the sedentary individual to competitive athletes.

In 2002 he became a Personal Training Manager where he managed over 20 personal trainers at one time. In 2003 he became a leading instructor for boot camp as well as becoming a lecturer in Certificate 3 and 4 for Wyn training, where he taught, instructed and mentored up and coming personal trainers.

Mercedes Meloni

Biography:

Hi, my name is Mercedes, but my friends call me Merc. I have been in the fitness industry for many years and can honestly tell you there is no other industry I would rather be part of.

I gain satisfaction from seeing my clients excelling and reaching their fullest potential, gaining a healthy and happy lifestyle, whether it be from my one-on-one personal training sessions or in my group exercise classes.

Biography:

Sport has played a big part of my life. I have passion, enthusiasm, determination and a strong connection towards all forms of exercise, as a trainer I endeavour to bring/show all of my passion, enthusiasm and determination to all members/clients at Equilibrium Health & Fitness.

Joye Stirling

Biography:

Joye leads a full and active life; she attributes her present level of health and fitness to her active involvement with Equilibrium. As a result she developed a passion for the health and fitness industry, where she can start using the knowledge she has gained to help other people.

Starting in her 50’s Joye can attest that it is never too late to achieve your goals, as a lovely friendly and caring person, she would love to help you!

Her background and interests in sport over the years have included netball, athletics, basketball, horse riding, tennis, skiing and also enjoys doing some gardening.

Glenda Gauntlett

Biography:

Glenda Has enjoyed keeping fit through training regularly at Equilibrium and outdoors for a number of years, and is excited to be now working with the team here at Equilibrium Health and Fitness, to help members achieve their fitness goals.
 
With a back ground in teaching, Glenda loves working with people of all ages. She takes great pleasure in sharing her passion and enthusiasm for keeping fit, and understands the importance of motivation, encouragement and staying positive when on the road to achieving health and fitness goals.
 
Glenda has a keen interest in nutrition and getting the balance right between your eating and exercise program so that you have increased energy levels to train strongly and lose some weight along the way if needed!

Biography:

Biography:

I have played state league soccer for 15 years and run specialised coaching sessions in this area.  From this I have always had an interest in sports and fitness.

I understand the discipline & hard work needed to achieve ones goals.   Now I want to pass on my passion, enthusiasm and discipline to other people, so they to can enjoy a healthy and active life as I have had.

Biography:

Laura Berry

Biography:

Laura’s career history includes physical education, teaching, diving coaching and careers counselling. Laura’s lifelong passion for health and fitness started with her own diving career that took her to the international level in Europe. Ever since, Laura has included fitness, sport and nutrition as an integral part of her life.

Combining her solid educational background in behavioural sciences and broad life experience, Laura brings benefit to her clients by helping them to set goals and overcome obstacles through a personalised and motivational approach. She is a strong believer in a holistic approach and that the best results are achieved when changes are made in several aspects of one’s life.

Laura’s activities outside PT include Tennis, Running, Yoga, Music, Arts and Family Life.

Richard Luiz

Biography:

Richard has been in the health and fitness industry since 2000.  He has covered many roles in this time from gym manager, personal trainer, gym instructor, membership manager and now as one of our motivating membership advisors.

With his years of experience in the industry he brings some great knowledge and enthusiasm to the club. Also after working at nearly all the Equilibrium clubs, we are glad to have him here at Doncaster.

So if you need any advice on how to start or get motivated, Richard is the man to see.

Casey Elizabeth Betteridge

Biography:

Beginning dancing at age three, Casey has perused her passion for fitness from a very young age. East Doncaster’s newest Membership Consultant has recently relocated from sunny Brisbane to Melbourne in order to follow her career ambitions.

Heavily involved in dancing, gymnastics and all things fitness, Casey studied her cert. III throughout high school and recently graduating with the dux of Extension Biology.

Casey is always happy to help those keen to get started by making a lifestyle change in the fitness industry.

Mish Brown

Biography:

Misha is one of our friendly faces at the front desk during the week.

She is at university studying a double degree in public relations and marketing and also does work experience at a PR and marketing fashion company in the city once a week. She aspires to get back into fitness and hopefully return to a representative netball side at the end of this year or start of 2011.

Working at Equilibrium has given her a boost of energy and continuously encourages her to stay healthy and fit. Knowing most names of our members, she loves coming to work and taking any opportunity to have a chat. If you are a new member, we assure you that Misha will welcome you to our club with a big smile.

Meleah Campbell

Biography:

Before starting with Equilibrium in May 2010, Meleah was a member at our club. But now as part of the reception team she brings with her great enthusiasm and a positive attitude to the role.

Having been involved in all kinds of sport since she was only 5 years old, exercises was a key factor in Meleah’s life at such a young age. At one stage in Meleah’s life she was playing Netball, Tennis, Basketball and Gymnastics all at the same time. With that in mind, she truly believes that we all need to keep up an active lifestyle.

Meleah is already showing she is a great part of our Equilibrium Family and we hope you too enjoy her bubbly personality at front desk.
