Biography:
Katina has been involved in all aspects of the fitness industry from personal training to swim coaching to management since 1992 and has been part of Equilibrium Health & Fitness since 2003.
After taking a three year break to be a full time mum, Katina is now back in the role of club manager.

Biography:
After spending 10 years as an electrician Matthew decided it was time a new career. Matthew started at Equilibrium in 2005 and apart from 6 months spent Personal Training in Brisbane with former Mr Australia, Paul Davis, Matthew has been here building his fitness career and helping others achieve their health and fitness goals while discovering the joys and benefits of regular exercise.
While working here Matthew has filled a number of roles including Gym Instructor, Personal Trainer, Gym Manager and Group Fitness Co-ordinator.
Outside of Equilibrium Matthew has been involved in a variety of sports, playing Australian Rules Football and high level basketball for over 20 years. Matthew has also coached a number of successful basketball teams and was even involved in the running of the local women’s Aussie Rules team.

Biography:
Michelle joined Equilibrium from Buckinghamshire, England in 2001 and has established herself in a range of different sports including being squad captain and coach in netball and a gold medallist in youth Judo.
Michelle keeps fit in the pool and the gym area as well as yoga. Michelle promises to provide the motivation, inspiration and FUN!!

Biography:
Xavier’s passion for health and fitness originates from his keen interest in many sports, especially soccer. Having arrived from Ecuador in 2001, he has worked in IT and Events Sales. He originally completed a Bachelor of Business in Human Resources.
He believes that people are the most important asset of any business and therefore their health, both mental and physical are their most invaluable assets and very important to a successful and enjoyable life.

Biography:
After working in hospitality for the last 11 years I decided to do something different for a career and have chosen the fitness industry, achieving that now by working at Equilibrium. Sport has always been part of my life having played indoor soccer for the last 3 years and last year going back to playing outdoor soccer after a 13 year break.
I like to also play a game of tennis or table tennis and enjoy working out in a gym , pushing myself so that I can feel it the day after my workout.
I’m back into soccer training now for this year’s season, so if you’re after help and inspiration to get fit or would like me to help you prepare for your sport then please, come and see me.

Biography:
Having worked in the reputable Les Mills franchise in New Zealand and the Australian Institute of Fitness, and being responsible for the setup of a Lifeguard service in the Caribbean, Aimee has experienced working with a diverse range of people with all sorts of goals.
Health and fitness is Aimee's passion. Aimee has studied professional dance and was recognized as Victorian Life Guard of the Year in 2006/07. Aimee brings an open approach to training - focusing on flexibility, agility and core strength. She believes that with a little motivation and encouragement anything can be achieved

Biography:
Daniel believes studying and exercise go hand in hand. Setting goals and achieving them is a simple process that can be applied to many aspects of life. Having worked in a variety of jobs, Daniel finds the one true factor to success is to be approachable and friendly.
Daniel loves learning new things. He has always been involved with different sports including Basketball, Diving, Parkour and Martial arts such as Wing Chun. He is currently studying Industrial Design at University, and being aware of Ergonomics and the natural development of the human body has always been a big focus of his.

Biography:
Michelle loves variety hence why she keeps herself occupied with University, Bartending and Membership Consulting. She has always loved to keep fit by participating in all the team sports throughout high school so much that she was her school sports house captain as well as captain of various school teams. She has always tried to maintain her fitness regime even when living on Hamilton Island, as she believes you need the exercise and energy if you want to maintain a busy lifestyle.
She has always believed that all someone ever needs to achieve a goal is a little encouragement and enthusiasm, especially when it comes to exercise!
She is also a North Melbourne local so don’t feel shy to say hi!

Biography:
I live locally and am currently studying my Bachelor of Arts, majoring in History and English, which I am thoroughly enjoying. I believe maintaining good fitness is essential in order to be happy and healthy. My interest in fitness began with dance lessons which I participated in throughout my years at school. I also started group fitness classes in high school and really enjoyed the social nature of the classes and the way in which the instructors were able to motivate me to achieve my fitness goals. I love doing a workout in the gym, or coming to do a class, especially whilst I am studying. I find that it is a great break from study, making me feel positive, energised and focused.
Caroline is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree at The University of Melbourne.
